Cloisonné
...is a, nearly thousand years old, multi-steps enamel process,
metalworking technique from China.
When doing the cloisonne, firstly,
use the red coppery to make the body, secondly, stick the pattern
on the bronze body by oblate and thin brass wires, then fill the inlay
pattern by enamel glaze material in different colors, the last procedure
is the firing over and over, polishing and gilding.
This is exclusive handicraft, and than, of course, a little bit expensive. But you will only need one bead, or a few, cloisonnébeads for a very beautyful piece of jewelry. Mix them, for exampel, with freshwater pearls.
